Galaxies Unlimited Mod
Galaxies Unlimited adjusts all galaxy size maps and adds additional ones to make 15 unique starting choices. These maps range from 25 stars to 5,000 stars. The maps all include adjusted number of empires, empire default, fallen empire/advance empire defaults, and the number of nebulas. Additionally, clustered starts now equally spread’s starting places.

– Added ten galaxy maps and adjusted the five original from 25-5000 star size/0-50 Nebulas
– Clustered starts now distributes starting positions evenly
– Adjusted max Empires to range from 1 to 200
– Dynamically balanced start settings/AI/Nebulas for new map sizes
– Updated the list of real star names from 194 to 311 (+117)
– Updated the list of fictional star names from 927 to 4,689 (+4762)
– Updated the list of black hole names from 54 to 100 (+46)
– Updated the list of nebula names from 43 to 50 (+7)

– Adjusted starting locations, so they are not as near to the edge of the map (Sometimes buged out graphically).
– Formatted all capital star names to match rest of galaxy.
– Adjusted which map sizes can play which map types, based on space to spawn stars.
– Made Clustered starts spread equally similar to Taw’s No Clustered Starts. (Use random to make starts like before).
– Other small tweaks
Known Issues
– Victory condition met at game start. Harmless, just restart.(Increase planet chance for smaller maps)
– Sometimes starting factions at edge of map do not have name appear (Hopefully fixed in this update)
– Slow down on slower PCs with larger galaxy maps. (Don’t play on the 4-5k map if you don’t have a fast PC, ie, i7 4ghz+, 16GB+, High End Video Card)
